अस्मद्वाक्येन यो मुक्तो जीवन्नपि मृतो हि सः । शत्रुं ये घ्नंति समरे न ते वीराः प्रकीर्तिताः
asmadvākyena yo mukto jīvannapi mṛto hi saḥ | śatruṃ ye ghnaṃti samare na te vīrāḥ prakīrtitāḥ
Sesiapa yang dibebaskan dengan titah kami, walau masih hidup, pada kehormatan adalah seakan-akan telah mati. Mereka yang membunuh musuh di medan perang setelah musuh itu telah diampunkan, tidaklah dipuji sebagai wira.
