पुनरेतत्कृतं चापि संवर्तो मन्यते यथा । अहं सन्मानितश्चेति वह्निं प्राप्याप्यगामहम्
punaretatkṛtaṃ cāpi saṃvarto manyate yathā | ahaṃ sanmānitaśceti vahniṃ prāpyāpyagāmaham
Dan sekali lagi, ketika Saṃvarta menyangka perbuatan itu dilakukan olehnya, aku—berfikir, ‘Aku telah dihormati sebagaimana patut’—tetap melangkah, meskipun telah sampai ke api itu.
