Bondage and Liberation: The Prakṛti–Karma Wheel and Śiva as the Transcendent Cause

It teaches that the Guru’s remnants are not ordinary leftovers but Śiva-prasāda, to be received with reverence; accepting them cultivates humility and receptivity to Śiva’s grace (anugraha) through the guru-paramparā.
Just as offerings to the Liṅga become sacred prasāda, the Guru—revered as a Śiva-bhakta and spiritual conduit—sanctifies water and food by association with Śiva; honoring such prasāda is an act of Saguna-Śiva devotion expressed through visible sacred forms.
Practice guru-sevā and accept guru-prasāda (water/food) with a purified attitude, mentally offering it to Śiva and receiving it as Śiva’s blessing; this can be accompanied by japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
