तस्मादस्य वशीकर्ता नास्तीति स शिवः स्मृतः । यथा सर्वमृगाणां च हिंसको मृगहिंसकः

Transliteration

tasmādasya vaśīkartā nāstīti sa śivaḥ smṛtaḥ | yathā sarvamṛgāṇāṃ ca hiṃsako mṛgahiṃsakaḥ

Translation

Maka, kerana tiada sesiapa dapat menundukkan atau menguasai-Nya, Dia dikenang sebagai Śiva. Seperti dalam kalangan segala binatang, pembunuhnya disebut ‘pembunuh binatang’ (singa), demikianlah Dia Yang tiada tertandingi, yang tidak dapat ditewaskan.
