स्वरत्नं स्थापयामास स्वकीये हि शरीरके । केशमाकाशसारेण वायुसारेण वै मुखम्
svaratnaṃ sthāpayāmāsa svakīye hi śarīrake | keśamākāśasāreṇa vāyusāreṇa vai mukham
Dia kemudian meletakkan permata-Nya yang bersinar di dalam tubuh-Nya sendiri; Dia membentuk rambut daripada sari pati ruang, dan wajah daripada sari pati angin.

It presents the body as a sacred microcosm: the inner “radiant jewel” signifies the indwelling divine consciousness (Śiva as Pati), while the elements (ākāśa and vāyu) show how embodied life is woven from tattvas that are to be purified and transcended in Shaiva practice.
By describing the divine organizing power within the body, the verse supports Saguna contemplation: just as the Liṅga is a visible support for meditating on the formless, the body too becomes a support for recognizing Śiva’s presence as inner light and order.
A practical takeaway is tattva-dhyāna with prāṇāyāma: contemplate ākāśa (spacious awareness) and vāyu (breath) while repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” internalizing worship as an inner offering to Śiva.
