FAQs

It teaches that sacred timing (tithi and month) refines the fruit of worship: Dvādaśī supports prosperity, while Śrāvaṇa emphasizes healing and well-being—showing how dharmic discipline channels grace into specific life-needs.

Within the Shiva Purana’s ritual framework, honoring Viṣṇu on specific days complements Saguna devotion and supports harmony among divine functions; such disciplined observance ultimately prepares the devotee for steadier Shiva-bhakti and inner purity conducive to Linga-worship.

Perform Viṣṇu-yajana (formal worship with offerings, mantra, and purity) on Dvādaśī for prosperity, and especially in Śrāvaṇa for health; keep a vrata-like discipline (cleanliness, restraint, and japa) to stabilize the intended result.
