Umāyāḥ Kriyāyoga-Rahasya
The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
न तस्य दुर्लभं किंचिच्छ्रीमातुः करुणावशात् । वर्द्धते पुत्रपौत्राद्या नश्यत्यखिलकश्मलम्
na tasya durlabhaṃ kiṃcicchrīmātuḥ karuṇāvaśāt | varddhate putrapautrādyā naśyatyakhilakaśmalam

It teaches that grace (anugraha) is decisive: the Divine Mother’s compassion removes inner stains (kaśmala) and makes both worldly well-being and spiritual upliftment attainable for the devotee.
In Shaiva tradition, worship of Shiva is inseparable from Shiva’s Śakti; the verse highlights that through Shiva–Shakti devotion (often expressed in Linga worship), obstacles dissolve and purification occurs by grace, not effort alone.
A practical takeaway is regular Shiva–Shakti bhakti: japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with a prayer for Śrī-Mātā’s karuṇā, supported by simple purity observances and temple/Linga worship.
