तथोद्विग्नोतिसंतप्तो न भक्ष्यैर्मन्यते सुखम् । अभावादग्रतोऽन्यस्य प्रतिकल्पं दिनेदिने
tathodvignotisaṃtapto na bhakṣyairmanyate sukham | abhāvādagrato'nyasya pratikalpaṃ dinedine
Maka, dalam kegelisahan dan penderitaan yang mendalam, dia tidak lagi menganggap makanan yang lazat sebagai kebahagiaan. Kerana hari demi hari, pada setiap saat, ketiadaan apa yang diperlukan berdiri di hadapannya seperti beban yang sentiasa ada.
