Description of the Supreme State / One’s True Attainment
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Significance: Enumerates ‘prasāda-phala’: honor among sages, fame, prosperity, and aiśvarya—typical fruits attributed to Śiva’s worship at kṣetras and in āśramas, culminating in dharmic excellence.
Role: nurturing
It teaches that Shiva’s prasāda uplifts the devotee outwardly (honor, prosperity) and inwardly (character, virtues, spiritual authority), showing grace as a primary means of progress on the Shaiva path.
The verse reflects Saguna Shiva as the compassionate Lord who grants tangible and inner fruits to worshippers; Linga-worship is traditionally described as a direct way to receive such step-by-step protection and blessings.
Steady bhakti supported by daily Shiva-puja—especially japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and reverent worship with bhasma and Rudraksha—aligns the devotee with Shiva’s prasāda described here.
