Manifestation of Śiva’s Saṃhāra-Form

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: theophany: emergence of a bounded form from all-pervading radiance
It points to Rudra as the Supreme whose presence transforms vast space into conscious radiance, revealing a “manifest limit” so devotees can perceive and approach the otherwise immeasurable Reality.
The verse describes the transition from the ungraspable (vast sky) to a perceivable, marked manifestation “belonging to Rudra,” aligning with Saguna worship where Shiva is approached through a recognizable sign (cihna), such as the Linga or a distinct divine form.
Meditate on Rudra as luminous consciousness (tejas) and then contemplate His accessible manifestation with reverence; practically, japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) suits this movement from the formless to the graciously revealed form.
