Shiva Purana — Rudra Samhita, Shloka 4

Tripuramohana — “The Delusion/Enchanting of Tripura”

FAQs

It points to the insight that saṃsāra functions as a beginningless process and that the ego’s claim “I am the doer” is mistaken; liberation arises by recognizing the Lord (Pati) as the true ground and by loosening identification with action and its bondage.

Linga-worship trains the mind to rest in Shiva as the changeless support behind arising and dissolution; by devotion to Saguna Shiva (as Linga), the seeker matures into seeing the Nirguna reality that is untouched by ‘doer’ and ‘deed’.

Meditate on non-doership while repeating the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offering actions mentally to Shiva; this aligns karma with devotion and helps dissolve ego-centered agency.
