Demikianlah, dalam Śrī Śiva Mahāpurāṇa, bahagian kedua—Rudrasaṃhitā—dalam pembahagian kelima, Yuddhakhaṇḍa, berakhirlah bab keempat puluh sembilan yang bertajuk “Huraian tentang bala Gaṇa Andhaka memperoleh hidup kembali.”
Suta Goswami (concluding the chapter narration to the sages of Naimisharanya)
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter, highlighting the theme that Shiva’s sovereignty (Pati-tattva) governs life, death, and restoration—pointing to His power of grace (anugraha) even amid conflict.
Though not a ritual verse, it frames the narrative of Shiva’s manifest (saguṇa) intervention in the world—an emphasis that supports devotional worship of Shiva, including Linga-upāsanā, as the accessible form of the Supreme.
The takeaway is remembrance of Shiva as the giver of life and refuge; a fitting practice is steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with bhakti, seeking protection and inner renewal.
