शङ्खचूडकस्य राज्याभिषेकः तथा शक्रपुरीं प्रति प्रस्थानम् | Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Coronation and March toward Indra’s City
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Significance: The verse models ‘abhaya’ (fearlessness) as a fruit of proximity to Śiva—pilgrimage/śaraṇāgati culminating in inner steadiness.
Role: nurturing
The verse conveys Shiva’s bestowal of abhaya (fearlessness): when beings take refuge in Pati (Shiva), the bonds of fear and insecurity loosen, and steadfastness arises even amid conflict.
It reflects Saguna Shiva’s compassionate guardianship—Shiva as the personal Lord who grants protection and stability to devotees and devas; Linga-worship similarly centers on approaching Shiva as the reliable refuge and giver of abhaya.
Cultivate “abhaya-bhāva” through japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and remembrance of Shiva as protector; optionally reinforce with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as Shaiva aids to steadiness and devotion.
