Pada saat itu, dengan gerombolan Dānava ditumbangkan oleh para Pramatha dan, demikian juga, gerombolan Gaṇa Śiva ditewaskan oleh Dānava, bumi menjadi tidak dapat dilalui—pekat dengan lumpur lemak, darah, dan daging.

It starkly portrays the perishability of the body and the horror of adharma-driven conflict, pushing the seeker toward vairāgya (dispassion) and remembrance of Pati (Shiva) as the only stable refuge beyond blood-and-flesh existence.
In the Yuddha-khaṇḍa setting, Shiva’s Gaṇas and Pramathas represent Saguna Shiva’s protective power in the world; yet the verse’s emphasis on bodily ruin also points devotees back to Linga-worship as contemplation of the deathless reality (Shiva) beyond material forms.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with inward witnessing, supported by Tripuṇḍra-bhasma and Rudrākṣa as reminders of impermanence and Shiva’s purifying grace.
