जालन्धरस्य दूतप्रेषणम् — Jalandhara Sends an Envoy to Kailāsa

The Provocation of Śiva

मन्नाथे भुवने योगिन्नोचिता गतिरीदृशी । जायारत्नमतस्त्वं मे देहि रत्नभुजे निजम्

mannāthe bhuvane yoginnocitā gatirīdṛśī | jāyāratnamatastvaṃ me dehi ratnabhuje nijam

“Dalam dunia ini, kerana aku tiada tuan, wahai yogi, jalan seperti ini tidaklah layak bagi seorang yogi. Maka, wahai pemegang permata, kurniakanlah kepadaku permatamu sendiri—isteri yang berharga—menjadi milikku.”
