The Devas Take Refuge in Śiva; Nārada Is Sent

The verse highlights that when one is empowered by divine favor and right order (dharma upheld under Pati’s will), worldly obstacles lose their power; what seems “impossible” becomes possible through grace and rightful authority.
In Shaiva understanding, sovereignty and success are not merely personal achievements but reflections of Saguna Shiva’s governance of the cosmos; Linga-worship centers the devotee in that divine source from which order, protection, and victory arise.
A practical takeaway is steady Shiva-bhakti—daily japa of the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with mental surrender—so that one’s actions align with Shiva’s will and obstacles are dissolved.
