शिवतेजसः समुद्रे बालरूपप्रादुर्भावः (Śiva’s Tejas Manifesting as a Child in the Ocean)
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It asserts that true invincibility and final resolution of karma are impossible without Rudra—Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord). Whatever arises ultimately returns to its source, pointing to Śiva as origin and dissolution.
The verse supports Saguna worship as a saving refuge: Rudra is the decisive power behind victory and protection. Linga-worship symbolizes approaching the very source from which beings arise and into which they dissolve.
Take refuge in Rudra through japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids—practices traditionally taught in the Shiva Purana for protection, steadiness, and Śiva-surrender.
