Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Colophon verse concluding the chapter on Śabda-Brahman; no specific liṅga-sthala narrative is invoked here.
Significance: Textual śravaṇa/adhyayana of Śabda-Brahman teaching is framed as a purifying upadeśa leading toward Śiva-jñāna.
This is a colophon verse marking the completion of a chapter; its significance is to highlight the topic just taught—Śabda-Brahman, sacred sound as a revelatory form pointing to Shiva, the supreme Pati, approached through mantra and inner contemplation.
By naming the chapter as “Śabda-Brahman’s form,” it indicates that Shiva is worshipped not only as the Linga (a sacred emblem) but also through audible and subtle mantra—Saguna practice that leads the devotee toward realization of Shiva beyond form.
Mantra-japa and attentive listening/contemplation of sacred sound—especially the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—as a Shaiva discipline supporting devotion, purity, and liberation-oriented meditation.
