कोहं वा कुत आयातः किं कार्य तु मदीयकम् । कस्य पुत्रोऽहमुत्पन्नः केनैव निर्मितोऽधुना

kohaṃ vā kuta āyātaḥ kiṃ kārya tu madīyakam | kasya putro'hamutpannaḥ kenaiva nirmito'dhunā

“Siapakah aku, dan dari manakah aku datang? Apakah tugas yang ditetapkan bagiku? Anak siapakah aku—setelah dilahirkan—dan oleh siapakah aku diciptakan pada saat ini?”
