The verse highlights the Goddess’s saguna (manifest) splendor—many-armed power and moonlike radiance—signifying her capacity to protect, bless, and illumine the devotee’s mind toward Shiva-realization.
In Shaiva practice, the Linga represents Shiva’s transcendent reality, while such vivid descriptions support saguna upāsanā—devotional contemplation of divine attributes—helping the mind become steady and receptive to the grace that the Linga ultimately signifies.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna: visualize the auspicious, radiant face of the Devi while repeating the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) or a Devi-Śiva prayer, cultivating purity and one-pointed devotion.
