शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)
इति संचिंत्य रुद्रोऽसौ शिवेच्छां गंतुमुत्सुकः । ननाद तत्र ढक्कां स्वां सुगतिं नादरूपिणीम्
iti saṃciṃtya rudro'sau śivecchāṃ gaṃtumutsukaḥ | nanāda tatra ḍhakkāṃ svāṃ sugatiṃ nādarūpiṇīm
Setelah merenung demikian, Rudra itu—ghairah untuk melangkah menurut kehendak Śiva—lalu membunyikan ḍhakkā (gendang) miliknya di sana; dan getar nadanya menjadi rupa perjalanan yang membawa tuah menuju Matlamat Tertinggi.
