Wahai anak, apabila raja mendengar tentang kelakuan jahatmu, baginda akan meninggalkan kepercayaan terhadap ayahmu dan akan memutuskan sumber rezekinya.

It teaches that adharma breaks śraddhā (trust) and severs one’s worldly support; in Shaiva thought, ethical restraint is a necessary foundation for bhakti and inner purity that leads toward grace (anugraha).
Linga worship is upheld by śraddhā and right conduct; when misconduct spreads, faith and patronage decline, weakening one’s capacity to maintain disciplined devotion to Saguna Shiva through daily pūjā.
A practical takeaway is to restore conduct through regular japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with vows of truthful speech and restraint, so that devotion is supported by dhārmic living.
