The Reason for Assuming the Swan and Boar Forms

Mengetahui bahawa dia tidak layak bagi pencapaian, dan ketika aku merenung sekali lagi, segera terbitlah penciptaan yang bersifat sāttvika, yang disebut “arus yang mengalir ke atas” (ūrdhva-srotas).
Brahmā (narrating the process of creation within the Sṛṣṭi Khaṇḍa, as relayed in the Purāṇic dialogue)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Vāmadeva
Role: nurturing
Cosmic Event: Sāttvika/ūrdhvasrotas emergence: an upward-tending stream indicating relative luminosity and fitness for higher dharma.
It distinguishes a higher, sāttvika mode of manifestation—‘upward-flowing’—indicating a creation oriented toward purity, knowledge, and liberation rather than outward entanglement.
The upward-flowing tendency reflects the inner turn toward Shiva as Pati (the Lord) through sāttvika living and devotion; such purity supports Saguna Shiva-upāsanā and steadies the mind for Linga-bhakti.
Cultivate sāttvika discipline—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), clean conduct, and steady contemplation—so the ‘current’ of awareness moves upward toward Shiva rather than outward into distraction.
