हंस-वराह-रूपग्रहण-कारणम्
The Reason for Assuming the Swan and Boar Forms
सिसृक्षोरथ मे प्रादुरभवत्पापसर्गकः । अविद्यापंचकस्तात बुद्धिपूर्वस्तमोपमः
sisṛkṣoratha me prādurabhavatpāpasargakaḥ | avidyāpaṃcakastāta buddhipūrvastamopamaḥ
Tatkala aku berkehendak untuk mencipta, terbit daripadaku ciptaan yang dinamai ‘pāpa-sarga’—arus gelap keterikatan. Wahai yang dikasihi, itulah Avidyā lima lapis, didahului oleh Buddhi, dan menyerupai kegelapan yang pekat.
