ब्राह्मे मुहूर्ते चोत्थाय संस्मरेत्सांबकं शिवम् । कुर्यात्तत्प्रार्थनां भक्त्या सांजलिर्नतमस्तकः
brāhme muhūrte cotthāya saṃsmaretsāṃbakaṃ śivam | kuryāttatprārthanāṃ bhaktyā sāṃjalirnatamastakaḥ
Pada waktu brāhma-muhūrta, bangunlah lalu ingatlah Śiva, Sāmbaka, Tuhan yang bersatu dengan Śakti. Dengan bhakti, panjatkan doa kepada-Nya, dengan kedua tangan dirapatkan dan kepala ditundukkan penuh hormat.

By emphasizing remembrance and prayer to “Sāmbaka Śiva” (Śiva with Śakti), it supports Saguna upāsanā—approaching the Lord with form and qualities—often expressed in practice through Liṅga worship, mantra-japa, and reverent salutations.
Wake before sunrise (brāhma-muhūrta), sit or stand with añjali (joined palms), bow the head, and perform Śiva-smaraṇa with a short prayer—commonly accompanied by pañcākṣarī japa ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") as part of morning sādhanā.
