षष्ट्याद्यामाश्च नवमी व्रतमस्तं रवेर्दिनम् । तथा श्राद्धदिनं तात निषिद्धं रदधावने

Transliteration

ṣaṣṭyādyāmāśca navamī vratamastaṃ raverdinam | tathā śrāddhadinaṃ tāta niṣiddhaṃ radadhāvane

Translation

Wahai yang dikasihi, pada tithi keenam dan tithi-tithi lain yang telah ditetapkan, pada Navamī (tithi kesembilan), pada hari menjalankan vrata (nazar/puasa), pada hari matahari terbenam, dan juga pada hari śrāddha—pada hari-hari itu, membersihkan gigi dengan menggosok/mengunyah ranting adalah dilarang.
