Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Role: teaching
It presents purified speech as an “antidote” to Madana—teaching that when the divine is recognized, the mind’s agitation can be pacified through sattvic words aligned with dharma and devotion to Pati (Śiva).
In Shaiva practice, encountering a sacred manifestation (Saguna presence) naturally leads to reverent, gentle speech and praise; such speech functions like medicine, steadying the devotee so worship of the Linga becomes focused rather than desire-driven.
Adopt “madhura vacaḥ” as a discipline: recite Shiva-nāma (especially the Panchākṣarī, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with calm breath and a soothed mind, using mantra-japa as the practical antidote to restless passion.
