Viṣṇu’s Disguise and Dadhīca’s Fearlessness
Kṣu’s Request
Brahma
Tattva Level: pati
It highlights Shiva’s bhaktavātsalya—His compassionate nearness to devotees—showing that the Lord actively intervenes for a devotee’s welfare, even by adopting a suitable outward form.
By depicting the Lord taking a visible brāhmaṇa-form, the verse emphasizes Saguna Shiva—accessible to devotees through form and action—supporting devotional worship (including Linga worship) as a valid means of approaching the Supreme.
The practical takeaway is steady bhakti supported by japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and humble conduct, trusting that Shiva responds to sincere devotion and dharmic intent.
