दक्षस्य विष्णुं प्रति शरणागतिḥ — Dakṣa’s Appeal to Viṣṇu and the Teaching on Disrespect to Śiva

श्रीमहादेवशपथं समुल्लंघ्य भ्रमान्मया । यतः स्थितं ततः प्राप्यं मया दुःखं त्वया सह

śrīmahādevaśapathaṃ samullaṃghya bhramānmayā | yataḥ sthitaṃ tataḥ prāpyaṃ mayā duḥkhaṃ tvayā saha

Dalam kekeliruan, aku telah melangkahi sumpah suci atas nama Śrī Mahādeva. Dari mana pun engkau telah tetap berada, apabila aku sampai kepada keadaan itu, aku juga ditimpa dukacita—bersama-sama denganmu.
