Daksha

It shows śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge): even a powerful being like Dakṣa turns to divine compassion for protection, highlighting that worldly status cannot replace grace and dharmic alignment.
Though addressed to Viṣṇu, the Sati-khaṇḍa narrative ultimately frames protection and right order as upheld through the Supreme Lord’s governance—within Shaiva telling, this points back to Pati (Śiva) as the final ground of grace, with saguna forms functioning as channels of protection.
Practice humble prayer and refuge-taking (japa with a protective bhāva), such as repeating a chosen mantra (e.g., the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while cultivating compassion and dharma as the inner “protection.”
