दक्षयज्ञे सत्या अपमानबोधः — Satī Encounters Disrespect at Dakṣa’s Sacrifice
तस्मान्नाह्वारितो रुद्रो यज्ञार्थं सुकुवेषभृत् । देवर्षिसंसदि मया ज्ञात्वा पुत्रि विपश्चिता
tasmānnāhvārito rudro yajñārthaṃ sukuveṣabhṛt | devarṣisaṃsadi mayā jñātvā putri vipaścitā
Maka Rudra tidak dijemput ke upacara yajña itu, walaupun Baginda telah mengenakan rupa dan busana yang wajar lagi bertuah bagi ritual. Wahai puteriku yang bijaksana, hal ini aku ketahui dengan jelas dalam majlis para dewa dan para resi.

It highlights that excluding Rudra from sacred rites is not a ritual detail but a spiritual fault rooted in pride; true dharma recognizes Shiva (Pati) as the inner Lord of all yajñas, beyond social approval and external form.
Rudra “assuming proper attire” points to Saguna manifestation—Shiva graciously accepts forms accessible to devotees—yet Daksha’s refusal shows that outer ritual without reverence for Shiva (often worshipped as the Linga, the sign of the Supreme) becomes spiritually barren.
The takeaway is to anchor ritual in Shiva-bhakti: begin worship with remembrance of Shiva through the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and cultivate inner humility—so external rites do not become vehicles of ego.
