FAQs

It teaches that anger (krodha) arises from delusion (bhrama) and leads to fruitless harm; the Shaiva path emphasizes inner restraint and clarity, recognizing Shiva (Pati) as transcendent and not truly affected by worldly judgments like curses.

Linga-worship trains the devotee to see the unconditioned reality of Shiva beyond form and social power; this verse reinforces that Shiva is not bound by external acts like śāpa, and devotion should be grounded in discernment rather than reactive emotion.

Practice anger-restraint through japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with calm breath, and cultivate sattva with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and mindful devotion—using worship to dissolve bhrama before it becomes krodha.
