विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्
Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection
प्रधानस्याऽप्रधानस्य भागाभागस्य रूपिणः । ज्योतिर्मयस्य भागास्ते वयं देवाः प्रभोस्त्रयः
pradhānasyā'pradhānasya bhāgābhāgasya rūpiṇaḥ | jyotirmayasya bhāgāste vayaṃ devāḥ prabhostrayaḥ
Kami, tiga dewa, hanyalah bahagian-bahagian daripada Tuhan itu, yang menzahir sebagai Pradhāna (Alam Asal) dan Apradhāna (Yang melampaui Alam), yang berwujud ‘bahagian’ dan ‘bukan bahagian’, serta tersusun daripada Cahaya suci yang menyinari diri-Nya sendiri.

It declares Shiva as the Jyotirmaya (self-luminous) Supreme Lord who transcends Pradhana (Nature) yet also manifests through it; even the highest cosmic deities function as His partial powers, pointing the seeker to the one Pati (Lord) beyond all conditioned existence.
Calling the Lord ‘made of Light’ aligns with Linga worship as the sign of the formless Reality: the Saguna forms (Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra) are His functional manifestations, while the Linga signifies the indivisible, partless Shiva who is their source.
Meditate on Shiva as inner Light (jyoti) while repeating the Panchakshara—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and offer worship to the Linga, cultivating the insight that all powers and deities culminate in the one Supreme Shiva.
