विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्
Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection
सर्वं जानासि सर्वज्ञ परमेश सदाशिव । मन्मुखादखिलान्सर्वं संश्रावयितुमिच्छसि
sarvaṃ jānāsi sarvajña parameśa sadāśiva | manmukhādakhilānsarvaṃ saṃśrāvayitumicchasi
Wahai Sadāśiva, Parameśvara Yang Maha Mengetahui! Segala-galanya telah Engkau ketahui; namun Engkau tetap berkehendak agar semuanya diucapkan melalui mulutku, supaya semua dapat mendengarnya.
Sati
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
The verse highlights Shiva as Sarvajña (omniscient Pati) who nevertheless chooses to teach through the voice of His devotee, showing grace (anugraha) and making sacred knowledge accessible through śravaṇa (devotional hearing).
Though Shiva is beyond limitation, He takes a knowable, worshipable form and communicates in ways devotees can receive—just as Saguna worship (including Linga worship) provides a concrete means to approach the transcendent Lord through hearing, praise, and ritual.
It points to śravaṇa and kīrtana—listening to and reciting Shiva’s teachings and names. As a practical takeaway, regularly chant the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and engage in Shiva-kathā hearing as a devotional discipline.
