Description of Pārvatī’s Birth
An unnamed divine bestower of the boon (contextually a devī/deva speaking to Pārvatī within the Parvati Khanda narrative)
Tattva Level: pati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
It emphasizes that divine grace (anugraha) bears fruit according to the proper time (samaya). In Shaiva understanding, blessings mature in alignment with dharma and the soul’s readiness, not merely immediate desire.
The verse reflects the Purana’s devotional framework where Saguna divinity responds to devotion with boons, yet the results unfold by divine order. This supports steady bhakti—worship of Shiva (often as Linga) with patience and trust in Shiva’s governance.
The practical takeaway is steadfast, time-tested sādhana: regular japa of the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined vrata/bhakti, trusting that spiritual and worldly fruits manifest at the appropriate time.
