It shows that even the devas and great sages approach the Divine through stuti (praise), acknowledging Śivā-Śakti as the auspicious, grace-giving power that nurtures and protects the cosmic purpose even before birth.
The verse highlights Saguna worship—devotional praise directed to the manifest divine reality. In Shaiva understanding, Linga-worship honors Shiva as the transcendent Pati, while praising Śivā (Śakti) affirms the inseparable Shiva–Shakti unity through which grace and manifestation operate.
The implied practice is stotra-pāṭha (recitation of hymns) with bhakti and reverence; as a Shaiva takeaway, one may pair such praise with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to internalize auspiciousness and divine protection.
