मेनावरलाभवर्णनम् — Description of Menā’s Attainment of Boons
and the worship leading to Umā’s advent
मेनकापि वरं लब्ध्वा महेशान्या अभी प्सितम् । मुदं प्रापामितां तात तपःक्लेशोप्यनश्यत
menakāpi varaṃ labdhvā maheśānyā abhī psitam | mudaṃ prāpāmitāṃ tāta tapaḥkleśopyanaśyata
Setelah memperoleh anugerah yang lama didambakan oleh Maheśānī (Pārvatī), Menakā pun dipenuhi sukacita; dan, wahai yang terkasih, lenyaplah juga segala kepayahan tapa itu.
