It shows that even the immortal gods rely on Śiva as the supreme Pati; their praise (stuti) seeks to harmonize divine power, while Śiva’s blazing tejas signifies the swift removal of adharma and obstacles to cosmic order.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva—Śambhu as an active, responsive Lord whose tejas protects creation. In Linga-worship, devotees similarly approach Śiva through stuti and upacāra to invoke his grace and restraining power over destructive forces.
A takeaway is stuti with the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to calm inner kopa (anger) and align with Śiva’s tejas; traditional supports include Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids for steadiness and devotion.
