Gotra–Pravara Inquiry and Proclamation of Auspicious Time
पाद्यादिभिस्ततः शैलः प्रहृष्टः स्वपुरोहितः । तं वंरं वरयामास वस्त्रचंदनभूषणैः
pādyādibhistataḥ śailaḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ svapurohitaḥ | taṃ vaṃraṃ varayāmāsa vastracaṃdanabhūṣaṇaiḥ
Kemudian Śaila (Raja Gunung), dengan hati gembira, bersama purohitnya sendiri, memuliakan Yang Terunggul itu dengan persembahan bermula air basuhan kaki, serta dengan pakaian, pes cendana, dan perhiasan.

Practice upacāra-pūjā: offer pādya (or arghya), apply candana, and dedicate a simple offering with mantra-japa (such as the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) in a spirit of hospitality and surrender.
