ईश्वरागमनं हिमवदादि-समागमश्च / The Arrival of Īśvara and the Assembly of Himālaya, Devas, and Mountains
शिवाज्ञया पुरो भूत्वा जगाम स्वपुरं गिरिः । शेषहर्यात्मभूश्शीघ्रं मुनिभिः निर्जरादिभिः
śivājñayā puro bhūtvā jagāma svapuraṃ giriḥ | śeṣaharyātmabhūśśīghraṃ munibhiḥ nirjarādibhiḥ
Dengan titah Śiva, Gunung (Himālaya) tampil di hadapan sebagai pemimpin lalu berangkat ke kotanya sendiri. Mengikuti dengan segera ialah Śeṣa, Hari (Viṣṇu), Yang Terlahir Sendiri (Brahmā), beserta para resi dan bala para dewa yang abadi.

The verse highlights Śiva’s ājñā (divine command) as the harmonizing power of the cosmos—when even Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and the devas move in accord with Śiva, it models the Shaiva Siddhanta ideal of surrendering limited will to the Supreme Pati.
It reflects Saguna Śiva as the personal Lord who issues compassionate direction within divine history; Linga-worship similarly trains the devotee to recognize Śiva’s living presence and to act in alignment with His will rather than egoic impulse.
A practical takeaway is ājñā-anusandhāna—mentally offering one’s actions to Śiva while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), supported by Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and rudrākṣa as reminders of disciplined, Śiva-centered obedience.
