गणसमागमः (Śiva Summons the Gaṇas for the Great Festival)
किम्बहूक्तेन देवर्षे सर्वलोकनिवासिनः । आययुस्स्वगणाश्शम्भोः प्रीत्या वै शङ्करोत्सवे
kimbahūktena devarṣe sarvalokanivāsinaḥ | āyayussvagaṇāśśambhoḥ prītyā vai śaṅkarotsave
Wahai resi ilahi, apa perlunya berkata panjang? Semua penghuni segala loka—bahkan gaṇa Śambhu sendiri—datang dengan sukacita dan bhakti kasih untuk merayakan perayaan Śaṅkara.
Sūta Gosvāmin
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadashiva
The verse highlights that Śiva’s grace draws all beings—across all realms—into joyful devotion; the “festival of Śaṅkara” symbolizes collective bhakti that softens the pashu (bound soul) and turns it toward Pati (Śiva).
An utsava is a Saguna-focused mode of worship—celebrating Śiva with form, names, and rites. Such outward celebration supports inner remembrance, preparing the devotee for deeper contemplation of Śiva beyond form.
Participate in Śiva-utsava with sincere prīti (loving intent): chant the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offer worship (pūjā/abhisheka), and keep steady remembrance of Śiva while joining communal devotion.
