Parvati (addressing Lord Shiva)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
The verse highlights confident surrender (śaraṇāgati) to Shiva’s will: those aligned with the Lord’s intention become effective instruments, and the divine purpose is fulfilled without obstruction.
It reflects Saguna Shiva as the personal Lord (Prabhu) who directs devotees and attendants; honoring those engaged in Shiva’s work is treated as honoring Shiva, a key devotional attitude in Linga-centered worship.
Practice sevā-bhāva: perform Shiva’s worship and related duties with sādara (reverence)—such as offering bhasma (Tripuṇḍra), japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and respectful service to Shiva’s devotees.
