गिरिजातपः-परीक्षा तथा सप्तर्षि-आह्वानम्

Girijā’s Austerity-Test and the Summoning of the Seven Sages

चेच्छिवस्स हि मे विप्रा विवाहं न करिष्यति । अविवाहा सदाहं स्यां सत्यं सत्यं वदाम्यहम्

“Jika, wahai para brāhmaṇa, Śiva-ku tidak melangsungkan perkahwinan itu, maka aku akan kekal tidak berkahwin selama-lamanya. Inilah kebenaran—ya, kebenaran yang aku nyatakan.”
