Devas’ Hymn, Nandikeśvara’s Petition, and Śiva’s Rising from Samādhi

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
It highlights Śiva’s yogic sovereignty: by entering silence and dhyāna, the Pati (Lord) remains utterly steady like Sthāṇu, showing that liberation is grounded in inner stillness and unwavering awareness under Shiva’s grace.
Śiva as “Sthāṇu” evokes the steadfast, worshipful presence associated with the Liṅga—stable, centered, and approachable—while also pointing to the deeper reality beyond form, accessed through meditative absorption.
A practical takeaway is mauna (sacred silence) joined with dhyāna—sitting steadily, focusing the mind, and supporting the practice with pañcākṣarī japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and, if traditional, Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and rudrākṣa as aids to Shaiva discipline.
