Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It highlights dharmic order: after fulfilling their duty of reporting truthfully to the divine authority, the devas return in joy—suggesting that alignment with the Lord’s will brings inner peace and harmony.
By portraying the “Lord of the gods” as the supreme center to whom all accounts are offered, it supports Saguna devotion—approaching Shiva (or the supreme Lord) as the accessible divine governor who receives prayers, reports, and worship, often through the Linga as a focal form.
The practical takeaway is “vinivedana” (offering one’s whole account to the Lord): conclude daily worship by mentally submitting all actions to Shiva, ideally with the Panchākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating surrender and clarity.
