न बभूव वरांग्या हि हृदि भावोथ सात्विकः । सकामा स्वपतिं भेजे श्रद्धया विविधं सती
na babhūva varāṃgyā hi hṛdi bhāvotha sātvikaḥ | sakāmā svapatiṃ bheje śraddhayā vividhaṃ satī
Dalam hati wanita mulia itu, tidak timbul tekad sāttvika yang sejati. Namun kerana masih didorong nafsu, si wanita suci itu mendekati suaminya dengan pelbagai bentuk śraddhā dan bhakti.
