गणेशोत्पत्ति-प्रसङ्गः / Episode on the Origin of Gaṇeśa (Śvetakalpa Account)
गणेश उवाच । किं कार्यं विद्यते तेद्य करवाणि तवोदितम् । इत्युक्ता सा तदा तेन प्रत्युवाच सुतं शिवा
gaṇeśa uvāca | kiṃ kāryaṃ vidyate tedya karavāṇi tavoditam | ityuktā sā tadā tena pratyuvāca sutaṃ śivā
Gaṇeśa berkata: “Apakah tugas yang ada pada hari ini? Nyatakan kepadaku, dan aku akan melaksanakannya sebagaimana yang engkau titahkan.” Setelah disapa demikian olehnya, Śivā, Sang Ibu Ilahi, pun menjawab puteranya.
