Exposition of the Supreme Method of Creation and the Tirodhāna-Cakra

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Significance: Frames Praṇava (Oṁ) as a symbolic denoter of cosmic ‘cakras’ via a Maheśa-first sequence—useful for contemplative mapping of the Lord’s governance over ordered levels.
Mantra: ॐ (praṇava)
Type: gayatri
Role: teaching
It teaches that Oṁ (Praṇava) functions as a unifying sacred sign for inner yogic principles (cakras) and for Shaiva metaphysics—pointing toward Pati (Shiva) as the ultimate ground, even when language works only indirectly.
Just as the Linga is a sacred indicator of Shiva’s presence, Oṁ is presented as a sonic indicator: it signifies Shiva and related divine principles (beginning with Maheśa) and, by extension, supports Saguna worship while pointing beyond to the Supreme.
Meditate on Praṇava (Oṁ) as a mantra of contemplation, mentally linking it with the inner centers (cakras) and the Maheśa-order of divine principles, using it as a focused support for japa and dhyāna aimed at liberation.
