Exposition of the Supreme Method of Creation and the Tirodhāna-Cakra
वासुदेवोऽनिरुद्धश्च ततस्संकर्षणः परः । प्रद्युम्नश्चेति विख्यातं स्थितिचक्रमनुत्तमम्
vāsudevo'niruddhaśca tatassaṃkarṣaṇaḥ paraḥ | pradyumnaśceti vikhyātaṃ sthiticakramanuttamam
“Vāsudeva dan Aniruddha, kemudian Saṅkarṣaṇa yang tertinggi, serta Pradyumna—demikianlah termasyhur roda pemeliharaan (sthiti-chakra) yang tiada bandingan.” Dari sudut Śaiva, kuasa-kuasa pemeliharaan itu berfungsi dalam tadbir Tuhan, sedangkan Śiva tetap Pati yang melampaui segala kitaran.
