Rig Veda 7.34.1: Mandala 7, Sukta 34, Mantra 1

Sukta 7.34

Rishi: Vasiṣṭha (Vasiṣṭhas)
Devata: Manīṣā (inspired thought) as a goddess-power; implicitly Sarasvatī/Vāc complex
Chandas: Gāyatrī-like short verse (but exact meter uncertain from single pāda input; traditionally RV 7.34 is in Triṣṭubh/Jagatī mix—needs full hymn for confirmation)

prá śukrā́ etu devī́ manīṣā́ asmát su-táṣṭo rátho na vājī́ ||
